Getting Started

To get started, all new athletes are required to attend a free introductory session with one of our coaches prior to attending any regular group session. During this session, we’ll expose you to a few of the foundational movements we use in our training, as well as go over the general conceptual framework of our training paradigm. We’ll conclude the session with a brief workout. From here, your assigned coach will evaluate your best course of action, either our Fundamentals Class, or continuation of private coaching sessions.

The Fundamentals Class is a two hour intensive lecture on the core movements unique to Crossfit.  Every new athlete must go through our Fundamentals Class in order to be proficient in our most basic movements.  Likewise, anyone may attend the Fundamentals Session.  If you’re a current athlete, a new athlete, or an at-home Crossfitter wanting to widen the scope of your athletic capabilities, our Fundamentals Course is for you.  Go to our About and FAQ Section to see our schedule and pricing.

We also hold a free group workout every Saturday morning at 10am (unless otherwise noted). This workout is perfect for any new athlete wanting to gain exposure to our workout regimen before they commit to an introductory session. The workout is structured using the simplest of movements, so it’s scalable for any fitness level.

At Crossfit Dallas Central, we train a wide variety of athletes, from MMA Fighters, professional soldiers and athletes, to housewives, college students, and anyone willing to put in the sweat and tears to achieve true fitness. Some of our athletes are training for functional dominance; others are training to regain functional competence. We train athletes to be strong, fast, and mentally tough using a no-nonsense, intense workout program aimed at developing raw strength, strength endurance, explosive power, and metabolic conditioning.
