CrossFit Dallas Central strives to be the elite training facility for the city of Dallas, Texas. We use and implement CrossFit as our principle training program simply because we have found it to be the most effective way to produce fitness in our athletes.
Our goal is to increase an athlete’s overall work capacity. In doing so, our athletes become stronger, faster, and mentally tougher. Specifically, we strive to build and improve the following: cardiorespiratory endurance, stamina, speed, strength, power, flexibility, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.
We train to become stronger, faster, and more powerful without an increase in body weight. We do not train bodybuilders. Superior strength and fitness allows our athletes to go out and succeed in whatever comes their way, no matter the circumstance or context.
Why should I train with you?
Because what we do works - we have tried every program under the sun and CrossFit resonates with us; it’s by far the best program out there.
We provide the programming - we design each workout to elicit proper physical and neurological responses geared toward making you stronger, faster and mentally tougher.
We coach - we teach complex exercises & movements, record times and weights lifted, and push our athletes.
What if I’m not an athlete? What if I’m not even in shape?
We don’t require you to be. Workouts are scaled down with lighter weights, less reps, and fewer rounds to meet the needs of beginning trainees. It still won’t be easy, but we don’t expect a new athlete to perform like an experienced one should.
How do I start?
We ask that you email us at info@dallascrossfit.com to schedule a free introduction session. Based on our assessment and your needs, we will work together from there. You MUST complete an evaluation before you start any type of training with us. We offer a free workout every Saturday morning at 10:00am (unless otherwise posted) if you’d like to get a trial workout under your belt before you schedule an evaluation session with one of our coaches. After your evaluation session, we ask all new athletes to attend our Fundamentals Class, held Saturday right before our free workout. When do you train?
Monday: 6am, 7am, 12pm, 6pm, 7pm
Tuesday: 6am, 7am, 6pm, 7pm
Wednesday: 6am, 7am, 12pm, 6pm, 7pm
Thursday: 6am, 7am, 6pm, 7pm
Friday: 6am, 7am, 12pm, 6pm
Saturday: 8:00am-10:00am (Fundamentals Class), 10:00am (Free Saturday Workout)
Training lasts exactly one hour. Don’t be late.
Do you offer private coaching?
We do, but on a very limited basis. Email us for details.
Where is the gym?
We are walking distance from the SMU campus, located across Central Expressway at 5631 Dyer Street.
How much does it cost?
- Monthly unlimited group training - $150
- Fire, LEO, EMS, Military (must show proper ID), SMU students - $125
- Saturday Morning Intensive Fundamentals Class - $45 new athlete/non-member, FREE for current athletes
You won’t find a better experience for the price!
What if I’m just visiting?
You are more than welcome to drop in. We get out of town visitors all the time and would love for you to join us for a workout. We ask that you give us a heads up and let us know you are coming. Drop in fee is $25.
