About & FAQ
CrossFit Dallas Central strives to be the elite strength and conditioning facility for the city of Dallas, Texas. We use and implement CrossFit as our principle training program simply because we have found it to be the most effective way to produce elite fitness in our athletes.
Our goal is to increase an athlete’s overall work capacity. We progress towards this through many different sport modalities, including but not limited to: Olympic lifting, kettlebell training, gymnastics, running and sprinting, strong man training, climbing, rowing, and throwing. In doing so, our athletes become stronger, faster, and mentally tougher. Specifically, we strive to build and improve the following: cardiorespiratory endurance, stamina, speed, strength, power, flexibility, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.
We train to become stronger, faster, and more powerful without an increase in body weight. Superior strength and fitness allows our athletes to go out and succeed in whatever comes their way, no matter the circumstance or context.
Why should I train with you?
Because what we do works - we have tried every program under the sun
and CrossFit resonates with us; it’s by far the best program out there.
We provide the programming - we design each workout to elicit proper physical and neurological responses geared toward making you stronger, faster and mentally tougher.
We coach - we teach complex exercises & movements, record times and weights lifted, and push our athletes.
What if I’m not an athlete? What if I’m not even in shape?
We don’t require you to be. Workouts are scaled down with lighter weights, less reps, and fewer rounds to meet the needs of beginning trainees. It still won’t be easy, but we don’t expect a new athlete to perform like an experienced one should.
How do I start?
Every new athlete must attend our three week, 9 class On-Ramp course, which starts the first Monday of every month. Each On-Ramp course is capped at 25 athletes. The price is $300. You must attend all 9 classes offered. Failure to do so will result in requirement of additional private coaching sessions. In addition, you may be required to attend additional private coaching sessions at the conclusion of the On-Ramp course. For more information, please see the Getting Started page.
